Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial is located forty miles southeast edge of Neuville-en-Condroz, Brussels, Belgium, near the Ardennes Forest. In this 90 acre burial ground there are more than 5300 Americans. Some died during the battle of the Bulge; others lost their lives during the strategic bombardment of Germany .
At good professional essay writing services, it should be written about John L. Jerstead flew his burning barmier into an enemy oil refinery. On the face of the memorial building there is a high relief carbine of the massive American eagle. Surrounding the memorial, there are tablets of grey granite in gavial names of the missing. Inside the chapel, above the white marble altar hangs an angel made of gold metal. There are maps, intricately constructed with inlaid marble, marble panels around the chapel walls. They depict different ornamental features such as insert lettering, supply activities and combat. When writing homework papers about Word War II, it would be a nice idea to describe the interior and exterior of the building of the memorial. At the back of the memorial there are the major military units displayed. A bronze statue of youth is keeping watch over this field of honor, as a reminder of those who died, sacrificing their lives for other people and generations to live in peace. In the city there is a hotel that is available for the visitors from far places and a steady schedule of the buses, going to the memorial.
